Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior paddleboarding experience?
Some experience is preferred. This is a point-to-point paddle with moving water, so paddlers should feel comfortable standing, steering, and paddling independently. If you’re new to SUP, we recommend taking our SUP Basics course first.
Is gear included?
Gear is not included, but paddleboard, paddle, PFD, leash, and whistle are available to rent during booking.
What should I bring?
Dress in non-cotton, quick-drying layers suitable for river paddling. Bring a full water bottle, sun protection, bug spray, footwear for shoreline access, and dry clothes for after the paddle.
Is transportation provided?
No. Transportation between the launch and take-out locations is not included, but we’ll assist with planning the shuttle to make it easy.
